- A very different Vampire horror comedy: STRIGOI

A new day, another new weird n wonderful genre movie turns up at our door - the Vampire horror comedy - Strigoi. As far as we can tell it’s a British film, set in Romania, with a mainly Romanian cast, but with English dialog? Here’s what the films official site has to say on this mixed bag of a production....
“Strigoi is a Vampire movie that defies categorization. Shedding light on a post-communist Romanian village, the film introduces us to an ancient myth: Strigoi, the souls that rise again after death to seek justice if they've been wronged, their appetites intensified by a hunger for blood.“ Check out a trailer for the flick, from the link.
Synopsis: Vlad investigates a mysterious death in his grandfather's village that raises questions about land ownership in the community. The trail points to ex-communist bully Constantin Tirescu and his wife, but when Vlad confronts them, he discovers that the richest landowners in the village have become real bloodsuckers.
