• Full trailer for Chinese horror MIDNIGHT BEATING

A full trailer for director Zhang Jiabei's horror flick Midnight Beating (aka Midnight Heart) has just been released and unlike its rather off-the-wall, virally styled forebears this one goes straight for some classic chills.

Simon Yam and Francis provide the heavy hitting names in the cast, with a story revolving around a patients mysterious death and ghostly goings on in a haunted hospital, and according to several articles we've read the makers of Midnight are promising viewers some real psychological torment as well as the usual long-haired-ghost horror fair. 

Midnight was originally due to open in September, but the date was pushed back at the last minute so its opening would fall at the end of the Lunar (beats us why) new year, so it now hits its opening night at the end of December.
