- Kitano takes it to the next level with OUTRAGE BEYOND

If you saw Takeshi Kitano's original Outrage film and didn't think it was violent enough, we've got good news for you! On October 6th, Japanese theaters will be screening a sequel called Outrage Beyond and Kitano says it'll be bigger and more violent. Rejoice! The film will make its premier at the Venice Film Festival in September.
Apparently not caring about the way the first film ended, Outrage Beyond features a number of the same actors playing the same characters, but, Kitano says, it will be a standalone story that won't require you having seen the first one.
