Do you live in or near Southern California? If so, you're in luck. We just got word of a new Korean film festival making it's way to Hollywood. The Look East: Korean Film Festival will be occupying Hollywood the weekend of June 23-24!
The lineup hasn't been announced just yet, but we do know that Korean film super star Lee Byung-hun (A Bittersweet Life, Joint Security Area) and Korean film legend Ahn Sung-ki (Musa The Warrior, Silmido) will be on hand and will be casting hand and foot prints in the concrete in front of Graumann's Chinese Theatre on the 23rd.The press release also promises "new and classic" Korean films from directors like Kwon Taek Im, Kim Jee-woon and Lee Chang-dong.
You can visit the festival's official website, Facebook page or follow it on Twitter for more information. Once a schedule is announced, we'll let you know.
