A horror from the Philippines with a twist, as this particular fright flick looks somewhat better than their usual low budget affairs, and was filmed mainly in English. Always handy, for securing some overseas sales? Essential post production work is now finished for Darkest Night and a new trailer for the film has just been released to the public.

Darkest Night was produced by Gothic Productions International, a Philippine company funded by U.S. independent resources. The film's opening is expected later this year, first in North America and later in other countries around the world.

Synopsis: Darkest Night unfolds in a “found video and documentary” style. American  Ken Tyler, is introduced to the traditional-minded family of his Filipino fiancée, Susan Reyes, during a Christmas Day family reunion. What follows is a dark, horrific trip not to be missed, as demonic forces slowly come into play.
