• Prepare for the unstoppable rage of NO MERCY

Few countries are consistently putting out solid crime thrillers as regularly as South Korea these days, and right alongside their upcoming release of the gangster flick Hindsight, Korean film distributors CJ Entertainment will be bringing No Mercy to DVD in the U.S. on July 31st. Just in case you can't get enough of them (like us).

No Mercy is directed by Kim Hyoung-Jun and stars Sul Kyung-Gu (Public Enemy, Silmido), Ryoo Seung-Bum (Arahan, Crying Fist) and Han Hye-jin. Special features on the disc will include a making-of featurette, cast interviews, a music video and trailers. High hopes for this one.

Synopsis: In this edgy, tightly-crafted crime thriller, noted pathologist, Professor Kang Min-ho, is retiring to spend more time with his beloved daughter. But when a beautiful, young woman turns up mutilated, he is drawn into one last case. Working alongside sharp and pretty rookie detective Min Seo-young, the investigation soon points to Lee Seong-ho, a respected environmental activist. When Lee confesses, it seems the murder is solved… But the evidence just doesn't add up, police are baffled and Kang continues to seek clues. When his daughter is kidnapped, it's the ultimate showdown between a desperate father and a cold-blooded murderer with a hidden agenda… and it's a twisting line between justice and vengeance.
