Must be a while since we had a good fix of some bloody historical action, so it’s high time we rectified that with a look the first trailer for Park Hoon-jeong-I’s period piece Blood Fight.
This is Park’s first time as director, but he’s no stranger to the world of films and filmmaking as he’s the writing talent behind the script for Kim Ji-woon’s ultra violent serial killer thriller ‘I saw the Devil.’ If his talent for writing transfers (and it sure looks it so far) to front of house, we could well be in for a treat. Blood Fight is released in Korea next month. Trail at the link.
Plotline: In the 11th year of Kwang Hae-gun, Jo-seon soldiers go to war with China after an invasion. In the middle of Manchu, three people who have barely survived are cornered by the Chinese forces, and begin a bloody battle not with their enemies but with their friends.
